The Golden Age of Spain, Cervantes, and Cyprus

Room for Art proudly announces its collaboration with “Centro de Estudios Bizantinos, Neogriegos y Chipriotas de Granada” in organizing “The Golden Age of Spain, Cervantes, and Cyprus.” Room for Art will host the head of the Center, Professor Moschos Morfakidis Phylactos for this one-day activity scheduled to take place in October 2021.


The event will consist of a general presentation of the center, its work, and publications with a parallel exhibition of engraving replicas by Domingo Badia i Leblich, a Spanish explorer, soldier, and spy (!) in the early 19th century, better known by his nickname Ali Beyel Abbassi.


The event is expected to attract academics in the fields of literature and history, students, writers, poets, and playwrights as well as any person interested in the fields of history, classic literature, and culture.
