DILEMMA

PROJECT

Dilemma - Dealing with Gender-Based Violence and Social Inequality through Theater-Based Approaches and Digital Empowerment—is a transnational initiative funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU action.

Coordinated by Teatro Pubblico Pugliese (Italy), and involving six organizations from five European countries, the project aims to empower youth and youth workers by using theater as a transformative educational tool to address gender-based violence (GBV), discrimination, and social inequality.

Spanning 24 months (January 2025 – December 2026), DILEMMA combines non-formal, theater-based learning with digital innovation. It develops a comprehensive set of resources, including interactive modules, role-play scenarios, a digital theater toolbox, and a robust online platform, tailored to support civic engagement, emotional expression, and inclusive dialogue.

DILEMMA project addresses key EU priorities like inclusion, digital competence, and civic participation but also establishes a long-term framework for impact. By combining theater-based methods with digital tools, the project strengthens organizational capacity, fosters cross-border cooperation, and builds a sustainable, replicable model for youth empowerment through creative education.
